Nothing Gold Can Stay
Planning what to say at a funeral can be a hard task and here is another of my favourite funeral poems. It is called Nothing Gold Can Stay and will make the funeral that little bit more special.
Also feel free to browse our website for other fantastic poems for funerals.
Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.
Robert Frost (1875-1963)
Thanks for reading one of our funeral poems and hope everything goes well for you on the day.
